If I could, I’d give this zero stars. Lisa at the front desk deserves five, though. She’s the only reason I stayed the booked nights instead of checking out early and moving to another hotel. We checked in after midnight and went to the room we were given. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of moldy, wet carpet was unbearable. The person at the desk gladly moved us, almost like this had happened before. But the next morning the same smell was in the “new” room, the first thing we noticed when we woke up. Frustrated about the money we’d spent, I asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else. Lisa said she couldn’t refund anything because the manager was off duty until Monday, and it was Thursday. She offered an upgraded room that she had personally checked to make sure it was clean. Before we moved, we walked through the other two rooms together, and she agreed they both had issues. Lisa went above and beyond, clearly takes her job to heart, and cares about customer satisfaction. She was the reason we gave the hotel a third try. The third room was decent, better than the first two but not the best. The hotel gets one star from me and needs work. Lisa and the other staff get five. Thank you, Lisa, for everything you did. I hope Quality Inn sees your potential.

A handwritten note on the desk said, “enjoy your stay :)” and really made my day. Traveling from Ohio, this has been the best affordable hotel we’ve stayed in so far. The beds were decently comfy, the pillows plush, and the vending machines were a lot more affordable than at other places. I was especially glad to find a clean bathtub and conditioner. Not every hotel has it, and it’s nice not to have to dig through my car for some. My hair is down to my hips, so I can’t go without it. Thanks again!

Lisa was so welcoming. We got to chat with her a bit over breakfast while she kept everything clean and organized. The suite worked perfectly for my spouse, my mother-in-law, and me, with lots of room. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will be back soon.

Lisa at the front desk has been so kind and helpful to my boyfriend and our service dog. Her gracious hospitality has meant the world to us. The rooms are nice and comfy, the bathrooms are spacious, and the late breakfast on weekends is great. If you’re after kind staff and a cozy stay, I recommend this place.

This place is a pit and looks nothing like the website photos. It’s a dirty grey building, not a modern-looking hotel. The carpets are filthy and the rooms smell like urine. We weren’t told at check-in that rooms are only cleaned every third night. What the heck? We were gone for more than 14 hours, exhausted and ready to get into a clean bed, but nothing had been touched. The dirty towels we left on the floor were still there, and there were no replacement drinking cups. My husband asked the desk clerk for cups, but he said he couldn’t get any because he didn’t have them. We took some from the breakfast bar instead. Cereal was sitting out overnight in containers, with yogurt in a fridge, and I have no idea how long it had all been there. Gross. We paid over $600 for two nights. What a total rip-off. I have better sleeping conditions in my car. The staff were accommodating as much as they could be. If you’re visiting Glacier, check your hotels first. Glacier is amazing, but Kalispell has very little in the way of restaurants and hotels, and our whole visit here was disappointing. ISH.
