They put us in a room that hadn’t been cleaned: the beds were unmade, trash was still in the bin, things were scattered on the floor, and there weren’t any clean towels. Disgusting. We won’t stay there again. Do better.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the motel itself was very clean. It worked fine for a short stay, even though it definitely needs updating. The mattress was so old and sunken in the middle that our backs hurt, and the linen looked old and heavily used. None of the other guests seemed like criminals. Not the best, not the worst.

There were cockroaches all through our room. When we raised it with the front office, they seemed to know about the problem already and said they thought the bugs had come from another hotel. We were promised a refund, but it never came. Each time we call, the manager isn’t there. We’ve left our names and numbers several times and still haven’t gotten a call back. Don’t stay here if you want to avoid cockroaches and incompetent management.

We’ve stayed here four times, and the service has been great on every visit. They have fresh coffee in the morning, the AC is cold, and the beds are comfortable. The inside has been remodeled, it’s affordable, and it’s a good stop on the way to Bellaire. Front desk staff were nice and helped accommodate my late check-in. There’s a grill out front, plus a mini refrigerator and freezer and coffee in the room. I’d stay again.
