InTown Suites Extended Stay Kannapolis NC

I’m related to a guest currently staying at Intown, and I hope this helps anyone whose family is struggling and needs a place to live for a while. I’d choose somewhere else. There are roaches and, in my view, drug users at the property, and the whole staff is rude. One maintenance worker, who I believe lives there, lets his dog bark aggressively at guests and doesn’t try to stop it. I felt bad for a young woman who was visibly upset last night as he stood by while the dog got louder and seemed to be coming toward her, as if picking on her. By the time I tried to record it, she’d taken her bags inside. Another maintenance worker, a Black man with dreads who walks around, doesn’t seem willing to help anyone. The after-hours helpline goes unanswered. I had to pick up my niece and wait until the front desk opened at 11 a.m. so she could get her room keys reactivated. The property manager seems as childish as the staff. She lets guests she "likes" have dogs, even though we were told dogs weren’t allowed. The hallways feel like a dorm, always busy with slamming doors and meddling guests. Kannapolis authorities and the health department should look closely at the property, perhaps shut it down or bring in new staff. I worry about my niece, but the place is within her budget. I hope this is useful.
