Best Western Worlds of Fun Inn & Suites

We stayed three days during a snowstorm. The rooms and the whole building smelled awful. Things were broken or not working, the pool definitely wasn’t heated, and breakfast was microwaved junk. The staff were super rude.

Lowest of the low!!!!! At the Worlds Of Fun location, I was sitting in the Best Western lobby with my fiance and a good friend, trying to get online and fill out a reservation. About five minutes in, the front desk clerk told us to go outside to do it and stay out until we were ready to check in, as if we were an embarrassment he wanted out of his lobby. It was September 23rd at 10:44pm. My fiance is physically ill and needed to lie down, and we’d been looking forward to staying at a Best Western. I’ll never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is less than a mile’s walk from Worlds of Fun, and the pool was clean and well kept, with a depth of four feet at its deepest. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds and pillows were comfy, and it was super quiet. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the waffles, and the staff were really nice and courteous. I never leave reviews, but this one deserved five stars. Highly recommend it if you need a hotel in the area.

The rooms were clean, but the AC vents badly needed cleaning. I’m allergic to dust mites and really struggled to feel well during this trip. My parents’ room barely had any AC and smelled musty.
