The woman quoted us the right price, 70 bucks, and was kind. Then her husband or whoever tried to charge me 95 bucks. When we kept asking about it, he said there was now a 25 up charge. Be careful here, I felt like they were trying to scam us.

I had trouble getting a clear answer about the bill. At checkout I asked Cindy at the front desk about pricing discrepancies, but she was dismissive, gave me inconsistent explanations, and avoided direct questions. She tried to steer me toward rewards sign-up materials instead. I wasn't given paperwork that clearly showed the price, and she called the police over a dispute of about $15. The officers said I had done nothing wrong and were there to mediate. That felt excessive, unnecessary, and intimidating. I'm asking for a formal review of the staff conduct and billing practices, and reimbursement of the disputed charge. The room itself was also a problem. It smelled foul, had broken electronics and unfinished doors with splinters, and the walls were so thin that constant noise at all hours made sleep nearly impossible. Afterward I found two red bites around my waist, which makes me concerned about the room conditions. This was an unacceptable stay from start to finish, with basic hospitality, transparency, and professionalism falling short. I expect the matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and we had no trouble with the wifi or getting what we needed. It isn't a five-star hotel, but the cleanliness, location, and friendliness earned five stars from me.

The motel itself was okay, but using the self-check-in and check-out kiosks made the stay start and finish on a stressful note. The process was confusing, chaotic, and took far longer than it should have, with hardly any guidance. Other guests looked just as lost. The kiosk system needs work.
