Inside, the motel was a very different story from its rough exterior and questionable-looking area. The owner and staff were friendly, and our room had been nicely renovated. It was spacious, with a bed and couch in the same room, and the wall-mounted flat-screen, fridge, microwave, and coffee pot covered what we needed. The vanity was separate from the shower and toilet, and there was strong water pressure with plenty of hot water. We didn't hear the neighbors, and nobody bothered us or our vehicle. We checked for bed bugs and found none. A good option if you want a cheap, clean place to stay.

The room was disgusting: puke on the floor, hair in the bed, and a strange smell. There was hair in the shower and on the towels, so I couldn't even take a shower. The lobby was just a concrete box without furniture, presumably because it would get stolen. It looked like the hotel hadn't been renovated in years, and the owner was unwilling to help at all. Thieves also stole a machine worth $2,000 from my trailer. There were homeless people everywhere. Don't stay at this hotel or in the neighborhood.

It has what I want from a motel: clean rooms at an affordable price. The outside looks a little rough, as Michelle said, but don't let that put you off.

It's demolished and closed down. Good riddance!
