The only real downside was noise from other guests. Music played loudly from another room for hours, which was mildly annoying while we were getting ready for a band event. Later, loud hallway conversation woke us up and carried on. Hotel guests should remember that their schedule isn't everyone else's and keep their voices down in the halls. Otherwise, it was a great stay and I'd highly recommend it. We spent New Year's Eve 25/26 here to see a cool band in KC, The Suburbans, and ring in the new year. Check-in and checkout staff were super friendly and seemed to care about the experience, or at least did a great job of looking like they did. Everything was clean, and the rooms were nice and spacious, with a roomy bathroom. The blackout drapes blocked every bit of daylight, which was handy on New Year's Day, and noon checkout was fantastic. We took full advantage. The ballroom was great since we could stay where we played. I'm not sure whether the staff working the gala were Marriott employees, but they were great. Sorry I didn't get any pictures for you!

The most frustrating part has been the months of follow-up: more than 15 phone calls with long waits, emails that went unanswered, managers unavailable, and explanations that kept changing. At first I was told the room hadn't been checked out until Saturday morning, which wasn't true. Now they say they can't refund anything because of wholesale costs from the third-party booking. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised a hot tub. When I checked in around 5 PM on Friday, I was immediately told it wasn't working. Since that was the main reason for booking, I spoke with the front desk manager about 30 minutes later and asked to cancel. I was told the cancellation and refund could be processed, though using a third party might take longer and fees were possible. I understood. I returned the keys, left, and booked somewhere else. Things break, so the hot tub itself isn't the most upsetting part. It's being told one thing at checkout, then spending nearly three months trying to follow up while getting conflicting information and little communication from management. When an amenity is unavailable and a guest is promised a full or partial refund, the expectations should be handled clearly and consistently.

Clean, spacious rooms and a comfy stay. The pool's a good size, there are nice food options, and I love the fire pit outside. A very nice place. I'll keep coming back when we travel to other places.

Marquisha made our stay during the soccer tournament memorable. She welcomed us warmly, helped with whatever we needed, and brought such fun, positive energy that it lifted the mood for our whole group. The most thoughtful part was when she came out to support our team on the final day. That meant a lot to all of us. We had a great experience, and her outstanding customer service deserves a huge shoutout. Thank you, Marquisha!

There was plenty of free parking, and the area was really nice, with nearby shopping and lots of restaurants. The holiday decorations were festive, and the lobby came alive in the evenings around happy hour. There was also a banquet room, with pretty fancy events happening each night. Staff at both the front desk and restaurant were welcoming and kind. The hotel has an onsite bar and restaurant with a limited menu, and breakfast isn't free. My room was spacious, but the bathroom needed a deeper clean and some updates. The bed was uncomfortable for me, and both the bed and pillows were much too firm. To be fair, I have neck and back issues and may be more sensitive to mattress firmness than most people. I'm very allergic to pets and moved here after my first hotel allowed them, leaving my skin washed, eyes watering, and nose running all night. This is a no-pet property, which was a godsend. I could finally rest without worrying about a reaction. I'd stay again and bring my own pillows. Nice place, and the staff make the difference.
