Orangewood Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport

The breakfast had plenty of choices, and the front desk staff were friendly. We also liked the well-equipped 24-hour gym, and the pool and hot tub were in great shape. The hotel felt like good value after a fresh renovation, which showed attention to detail. I wasn’t keen on the orange scent pumped into the hallways. Also, every reservation comes with a required $7 parking fee, even if you don’t have a car.

Alex made our stay especially memorable. He was kind, quick to help, and treated us like family, which is a rare kind of warmth. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, calm, and welcoming, and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Orangewood Inn & Suites – Kansas City Airport and will definitely return. The free breakfast was great, and the shuttle to the airport was on time, running every 20 minutes. My room was very clean, and the staff were friendly. There’s a small Italian restaurant on-site, which was welcome since the only other walkable place was closed. Service and food were what I’d expect from a spot that isn’t really a full-service restaurant, and they also have beer, wine, and cocktails. A good value for an overnight before a morning flight out of MCI.

After a three-hour drive in the dark, it was such a relief to be greeted with a warm smile. The hotel and rooms were spotless, and it’s clearly well managed. I had accidentally booked the wrong date because of a website glitch after a long day at work, but when I called the next morning, the staff and manager quickly sorted out my mistake. I’ll be back and will recommend it to friends and family.
