Candlewood Suites Kansas City Airport

The hotel was clean, and we were greeted right away when we arrived. Our suite had a comfortable, spacious bed, a clean bathroom with plenty of towels in different sizes, and warm water. The small kitchen had a two-burner stovetop and some cookware, but there wasn’t much silverware and we had to wash it again before using it. I’d probably do that at any hotel anyway. It’s a good spot if you need to stay near the airport, but otherwise it’s a bit far from the city.

For the price, this place is a steal. It looks almost new and is well maintained. You get a fridge, stove, microwave, closet, dishwasher, and sink with disposal, more than you could ask for. There’s even a lending locker if you forget something. The front desk is friendly and informative. I’ll definitely come back!

The staff are friendly, and they offer free laundry on site. I woke up with bug bites all over my body throughout the whole stay. I changed rooms, but the next one seemed to have the same issue. I made sure to wash all my clothes before leaving. My company paid for the stay, but if it hadn’t, I probably would’ve made a fuss about getting a refund. Since then, I’ve been living in fear that I brought home their obvious bug problem.

The bedding, decor, and bath amenities all made a good impression, and the staff paid great attention to detail. The room was very nice, especially if you want a full kitchen and plan to cook. They have everything you need, with even more supplies in the lobby for guests to share. It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was excellent.
