The shower water never got hot, and the floor outside it sloped downward. There was mold on the ceiling, and the curtains by the window looked like they’d been sitting in water. I also saw a bed bug crawling on the door and old mattresses stacked outside the room. Our payment was nonrefundable, so we rested for a few hours and left. That was $80 down the drain. We booked online, and I’d suggest seeing the property before paying.

The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close properly, and water pooled in the tub while I showered because it wouldn’t drain. There were cockroaches everywhere, and the tape around one door made me think it connected to the next room. There was no privacy at all, I could hear the neighbors’ whole conversation. Someone tried to enter 10 minutes before checkout and even opened the door. I doubt it was room service, and think it was the rude, nasty front desk lady.

Housekeeping never brought towels after we asked. When they finally came, we asked them to wait a second so we could unlock the door, but they said they couldn’t and left. We never saw them again. Trying to check out, we were told we’d owe more money. I also had an Uplift loan approval, but the woman wouldn’t listen or try to understand what I was saying. Service was awful. We lost power, the free Wi-Fi didn’t work, the floor felt like it might cave in, and the table was broken. I’ll never stay at Super 8 again.

It’s always quiet here, with hardly any police calls, commotion, arguing, or fighting. The new management is amazing and respectful, and they keep making sure our needs are met. Big shout-out to Mr. Paul and his respectful, honest front desk employee. They’re always willing to help. I’m glad the mean front desk lady is gone. Prices are a little high, but there were no surprise charges beyond what was in black and white. Five stars from me, and it’s a great place to stop in.
