We paid to stay six days, but it felt like the floors weren't cleaned once. There was mud in the hallway when we checked in Friday, and wet floor signs stayed out the whole visit. The carpets weren't vacuumed, and clumps of mud remained on the pool floor throughout our stay. Housekeeping never offered fresh towels or linens, toilet paper, or to clean the floors. The website advertised a spa and pool access for guests with disabilities. There was a chair, but it had no power. For what we paid, this was a terrible choice. The place is a dump.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, and we got good value for the price. We enjoyed a quiet stay, and the pool felt great after a long day. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful, with a couple of good food suggestions. Some hallways are dated and have a few rough spots. It looks like renovations are still underway, so that may be a work in progress. Our room had already been fully remodeled. I was unsure after reading the reviews, but I'm glad we stayed.

We stayed a little over a month. The room was nice and clean, though housekeeping only came when requested and didn't do a very thorough job. Everything else was one problem after another, and the staff never made things right or even apologized. The manager and staff were unprofessional, swearing in front of me as though we were old friends. After we'd paid for a week, my husband was laid off, so we left five days early. They refused to refund those nights. The manager said they'd contact corporate, but I called myself and was told the hotel is privately owned and corporate has no role in billing or refunds. We lost $300. We also had repeated card overcharges. First they charged more than they had quoted, so we removed the card and paid cash. Later they said we owed another $200, and I paid because I was tired of arguing with the manager. Several other long-term guests told us their cards had been overcharged by thousands, and the hotel hadn't fixed it. I'd seen similar complaints in earlier reviews. With all those fees, I can't believe they're still operating. They need to sort out the overcharges. The pool and spa were supposed to open shortly after we arrived in early April, but they stayed closed until we checked out May 17. I try not to be harsh with managers because we're all human, but this was a miserable month-long stay.

We found one big roach and a bunch of little ones when we went to bed. The front desk moved us to another room and said it was fine, but there were more roaches there too. The pool bottom felt slimy. I slipped while going into the stairway and hit my head on the edge of the pool wall. I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
