I could hear what sounded like rodents in the walls and ceilings all night. I was able to sleep one night with earplugs, but it was a dirty, frustrating, unprofessional experience. I'd booked two nights through Expedia and asked the manager to refund the second after the noise kept me up. He denied there were rodents. When I called Expedia, he said he'd received their email and acted like he'd refund me, but later refused.

The front desk staff seemed kind and hospitable during check-in, but I didn't feel safe once I got to the room. Neither door had a lock, and the loose front door shifted in the wind. I had to brace the doors with my suitcase and backpacks. The curtains were stained red at the bottom, the sheets were stained, and several doors around the motel were standing open. I left and stayed somewhere else that night. When I called to ask for a refund, they kept talking over me and yelling. Truly awful, the worst hotel experience I've had. I wish I could post the videos, but the files are too large.

Bob, the owner, is the best. He makes sure you're comfortable and have what you need, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I felt very safe there as a woman traveling alone. My single king room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a comfortable bed and the amenities I wanted. The coffee was delicious, and there's continental breakfast every morning. It's a lovely little locally owned and operated place, and I'd encourage people to support the small businesses. The location is great too, within walking distance of several attractions and restaurants. I'd recommend staying here.

We had to stay in Kearney because of a snowstorm. The first night we chose another hotel that was a little cheaper and clean enough, but when we needed a second night, we booked this one. It was clean and comfortable for the price, we slept well, and the crew were very hospitable. There aren't hair dryers in the rooms, but you can borrow one from the office if you ask. We'd definitely stay again.
