We could see the beach just steps away, which was terrific, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The internet was the one drawback since it kept cutting in and out. We'd definitely stay here again.

The hospitality was the best part. The stay felt intimate and personal, like each guest mattered, and it was one of the loveliest we've had in a long time. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was very clean, and there was charm all around the resort. I loved the hot tub, the beach location, the wallpaper and decorations, and the affordable price. Sure, it's outdated, but it's the quaint, historic, precious kind of outdated, not gross. The hotel doesn't claim to be remodeled or modern, and it's just what it says it is. I hope to return and see NO changes 😊 This is your ideal Maine stay.

We felt like we'd found a special hidden gem and will definitely be back. Nancy gave us such a sweet, kind greeting, and we had an ocean view from the second floor. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, and the 100% cotton bedspreads were great quality. Breakfast was very nice, and we used the hot tub, which was so clean.

The rooms are just steps from nearby Gooch's beach, and you can watch the sunset from them. The hot tub is close by and often vacant. The workers were kind and eager to help, and beach towels and chairs were available. The rooms felt classy and comfortable, with vintage furnishings that added character and all the amenities of a classic hotel room.
