Michelle at the front desk made me feel welcome, appreciated, and cared for, both at the hotel and in New Orleans. The cookies they give you at check-in were delicious, and breakfast was expansive and excellent. The whole hotel felt clean, modern, crisp, and cozy. I had a great time and will definitely return next time I'm in New Orleans.

The rooms were decent, but our Mardi Gras stay didn't feel worthy of a four-star rating. At check-in, the agent accidentally canceled our reservation, then said they couldn't honor the online rate and charged us $300 more. We also reported a clogged shower, but nobody came to fix it. It took three requests to get towels. Same on the holiday end.

The service was great, and the TV had good channels. The room was decent but needs more upkeep, and it smelled like a wet dog, maybe because of New Orleans humidity. The AC didn't work properly, and breakfast was just okay.

Such a fun stay, and the airplane noise overhead didn't bother us at all. The staff were great. Just make sure you confirm the airport shuttle time with the front desk. We expected the 5 o'clock bus to leave on the hour, but it arrived 20 minutes early and nobody had told us. We were on time for the time we'd agreed, but weren't ready when it came and people were mad at us. They understood, at least.

The room had enough space for two, and the hotel is close to the airport and convenient places and restaurants. Breakfast didn't have much variety, but what was there was good. For the price and distance, it was a good place to stay for a trip to New Orleans, and the service was great too.
