Kennewick Inn & Suites Tri Cities

The first night, after my family had gone to sleep, I spotted a bedbug on my hand and kept seeing them while I was lying there. We'd already noticed that the sink didn't work at all and had no pipes underneath. I do not recommend staying here.

I arrived at night and security took me to the room I'd been assigned, but someone was already staying there. The office gave us another key card, and people were asleep in that room too. After about 30 minutes waiting at the office, they said only two rooms being remodeled were left. It was nearly 2 am, so I took one. It had no sink or kitchen, towels, toilet paper, or shower curtain. They moved me to another room the next day. The front desk said to call the manager for a partial refund because of the inconvenience. I left a message through the front desk and was told they'd contact me soon, but I still haven't heard back. The front desk and security were helpful and did everything they could.

My fiancé and I booked the deluxe suite, a king bed with a kitchenette, but the whole room smelled like pee. We put our own blankets down so we wouldn't have to touch the sheets. People were smoking right outside the entrance, and it came straight through the window. The downstairs smelled strongly of marijuana and old cigarettes. I could have accepted that if it cost less, but I expected more, especially with a $150 deposit fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere on the booking website.

I'm a travel nurse, and this is one of the nicest places we've stayed. Everything has been updated, from the paint and floors to the appliances. The manager is very nice and is often out helping the staff. When the family above us kept making noise, he dealt with it quickly. He clearly takes pride in the place and makes sure things get taken care of. The housekeeper is absolutely sweet and checks in with us daily about cleaning or fresh towels. Today we even saw her outside cleaning windows and taking out trash while her coworker was busy with maintenance at the other location. She works hard to keep both the inside and outside clean. Restaurants, a gas station, and a grocery store are close by. We love it here.
