Ave Union

I’m looking forward to living here. Since I moved into the AVE Union apartments, Alex has helped with everything from the apartment tour and my questions to the move itself. Alex even checked in after my first week. The receptionists have been helpful too, including Snejana.

It really feels like a home away from home, with everything we needed and then some. The staff and the atmosphere were both so friendly. We cooked with family and enjoyed the outdoor amenities, then walked to shops and had a great evening out in NYC with friends. Outstanding place.

The apartments came fully furnished, which was a huge help since I was moving from out of state. Monthly cleaning service was useful too. They also put on frequent resident events, from yoga to a summer lemon party, with snacks, drinks, and even live music. When I needed maintenance, it was handled that day or the next, and the staff made an effort to get to know residents. I absolutely loved living at AVE Union. It’s an amazing place, and the team went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome.

The AVE team made our seven years here memorable, and we’d recommend staying here without hesitation. There was always someone at reception, day and night, and only residents could enter the building, which made it feel more secure. The temperature controlled parking garage was especially comfortable in winter. The train station is just steps away for trips to the City, and shops and restaurants are nearby, including Panera, Starbucks, Chipotle, and CVS in the next complex. They also accepted outgoing UPS and FedEx packages as a courtesy, which was handy for an online shopper like me. Kean University is right next door, and we enjoyed walking around its beautiful campus and going to college football and hockey games. Our apartment and the surrounding areas stayed clean and well maintained. The courtyard was lovely, and our daughter spent summers playing there with the other kids. The pool was well cared for and had a swimming guard on site in summer. There was weekday breakfast, and the gym had brand new, high quality equipment, including towels and mats. The staff were friendly and flexible, and over the years they accommodated many reasonable requests. There were lots of summer and winter activities: monthly resident dinners, Friday food trucks, outdoor movies, and other fun events. The reservable auditorium and movie theater seats about 50, and we watched movies and many cricket matches with family there. They also recently added a ping pong table and an outdoor grill. We had a great experience here.
