Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Kenosha - Pleasant Prairie

We were on the second floor, and the bathroom, linens, and most of the important things seemed clean. The room felt clean overall. We always inspect mattresses for bedbugs, and during that check we found a large yellow stain on the box spring, not the mattress. There was also a yellow smear that looked like a booger on the ceiling outside the bathroom. Those marks felt out of place given how clean everything else seemed.

I’d absolutely come back, even though the room was quite small and on the ground floor. A red mark was still noticeable on the curtains, something mentioned in an earlier review that hadn’t been fixed. In the bathroom, the only working light was on the fan switch, and it took about 5-10 seconds to come on. The other switch did nothing.

It was easy to reach from the interstate, and I felt safe during my stay. The room was clean and nice, and breakfast was good. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

I prepaid for a week, but then got charged another $419 for the following week even though I had no intention of staying. I’m done with being overcharged and billed without permission. There was no housekeeping all week, and the front desk staff were anything but helpful. Kenosha and Racine are among the worst places to stay in hotels. I’d never stay at this hotel again.
