Kent/Sea-Tac Airport hotel

We’ve stayed here about three times, so it’s decent enough for us to come back. The rooms are large, a little dated, and staff have always responded when we’ve asked to have something fixed. How friendly the staff are can be hit or miss, though, and management is especially helpful when they’re around. Some weekends get noisy, with younger guests getting ready to go out, playing music and drinking. Other visits have had lots of families and been very quiet. It can really depend on the weekend.

I’d read a lot of reviews before booking and was skeptical, but the place didn’t match the bad ones I’d seen. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. They needed a deposit, but charged it to my card, so I didn’t have to go find cash. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit was a good size for my family, with a full kitchen and pots. We brought paper plates. It’s a little dated, but it worked well for us, and the unit was quiet. The internet was really good too. I’d definitely stay again on my next visit.

My newly remodeled room was clean, roomy, and nice, and I stayed in it for two weeks while renovations were underway. The pool was clean and the fitness room was adequate. Breakfast was simple and limited, but good. The internet was awful, though they seemed to be working on a fix. The laundry room worked, but was a bit dirty from guests making a mess. Wendy’s and a Shell gas station are right next door, which is handy. I sometimes saw police driving through the lot and checking license plates, so I’m not sure whether some guests are living here longer term or what. The staff were nice, and I’d stay again if the price is right.

Once we finally got into the room, the stay was great. The rooms are clean, well kept, and very spacious, which makes sense since the building used to be an apartment complex. The price would bring me back, but customer service needs work. My wife and I live nearby and booked a night away from the kids for our anniversary. Staff weren’t rude, but they weren’t courteous either. When we asked about early check-in, they wouldn’t even check for an available room and said they wouldn’t have anything clean until 3:00. We waited around for two hours while we watched housekeeping leave one room after another. Then the room we got had one queen bed, even though I’d booked a king online. The receptionist said they only had queens. Why did the website let me book a king, and why couldn’t they give us the first room available if bed size didn’t matter?
