Red Lion Inn & Suites Kent Seattle Area

After two quiet nights, with no visitors, noise, or other issues, staff told me I had to leave immediately. They admitted I hadn't done anything wrong but refused to explain why. When I asked whether this was discrimination, they called the police. I had just 10 minutes to pack and move at 9 AM on a weekday, and I missed work. Being told I was a “wonderful person” and that they “liked me,” then being forced out with no reason, was offensive and humiliating. I've never been treated so rudely or unfairly at a hotel. The room was dirty when I arrived: the shower and fridge hadn't been cleaned, items from the previous guest were in the drawers, the heater/AC was broken and wouldn't turn on, the desk drawer was busted, and the room was so dark there was almost no lighting. This was one of my worst hotel stays. If you expect respect, a clean room, and working equipment, stay far away from the Red Lion Inn.

The manager was so accommodating, and I really enjoyed the jacuzzi room. It was definitely worth the rate. New management has been exceptional overall. I had a wonderful stay at the Baymont and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Baymont!

The rooms were nasty, and the pool smelled like fish. It's not even near the beach. My daughter loves pools but wouldn't swim in this one. We stayed two weeks ago and got our deposit back, but today I was charged $25 for a “ruined towel.” Why charge me two weeks later, and why is my card still on file after returning the deposit? Stay away. The front desk won't help and just pretends not to understand you.

Since he became manager, the hotel has come a long way and feels much more relaxing day and night, starting as soon as you enter the lobby. Over the years I've dealt with a lot of hotel managers, and he's the most compassionate, patient, and fair one I've met.
