The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was reasonably clean, but the worn furniture, stained counters, and water-damaged dresser were hard to miss. Laundry was my biggest frustration: a $5 wash and $5 dry for an undersized washer and weak dryer left even a one-third load damp after two cycles. That’s $15 for a load that still isn’t dry, which isn’t what I’d call home-like. Breakfast was just muffins and oatmeal, so the “that feels like home” pitch came across more like a way to look appealing in search results than real value. It wasn’t the worst stay, but it wasn’t great either.

For a two-month stay, the room and helpful staff were just what I needed. Everything was clean, or got cleaned when I asked. Hotels have come a long way since the Howard Johnson's and motorway rest-stop days.

The location is convenient, and the people here have been so friendly and ready to help with resources when they know of any. Royalty, the management, and the rest of the team supported me through some tough times when I needed it most. They also respond promptly when I raise a concern. Royalty has been a great help during my stay and someone I’ve really enjoyed talking with. I’ll keep coming back to extended stay in Kent, and I’d recommend it to others for a night or two and the customer service.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The customer service can be great at times, but the rooms are terrible. Mine had a putrid smell all night. On an earlier stay, we found out a homeless man had broken into a room upstairs from us. It doesn’t feel clean or safe.
