I'm only just checked in, but so far this place seems kind of cool. There are pool tables, a breakfast area, a bar, and a restaurant, and they gave me a dinner coupon for each night I'm staying. It's dated, but if the food is good, I can see recommending it. They also have monthly packages with lots of extras, which seem handy for people working around here or visiting on vacation. I travel for work and don't usually leave comments.

Don't stay here. The carpet was filthy and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, and the beds were awful. The room smelled so bad that my husband and I couldn't sleep; the beds were dirty and stank like sweaty a**hole. We almost slept in our vehicle. The advertised restaurant isn't there, and neither is a nightclub. This place is freaking ghetto, and I'll never set foot in it again. It needs to be torn down.

The bartenders were really nice, and the drinks were very good. The hotel itself is just average, though, and the restaurant manager was rude. The food was served raw, so don't pay extra for it.

At first the woman at check-in was pleasant, then she turned mean and wouldn't help with anything. They also went into my room without permission. The service just sucked.

The room was bare-bones at best, with a hard mattress under a plastic cover, a fitted sheet that didn't fit, and pillows like Hill Country rocks. I was going to eat at the restaurant Saturday night, but it was closed by 8 pm. I also felt ripped off when I checked out early: I'd booked three nights, but my trip ended sooner, and the manager said I'd needed to give 24 hours' notice to get the unused night refunded. I checked in Friday and otherwise the rates were what I expected. Save your time, money, and back and stay somewhere else, even if it costs more.
