The front desk lady was nice and offered to move my wife and me to another room, but the first one hadn’t been cleaned. Roaches were crawling everywhere.

The room itself was nice and clean, but it was a long walk to get there. The lobby sign said to use the phone for assistance, but that phone didn’t work. We called the number on our reservation, and the phone behind reception rang. Cindy called out that she heard it and was on her way, then apologized, took our details, and gave us key cards. We took the nearest elevator, walked all the way across the hotel, then down another little hall to the far end. That was especially inconvenient since we’d requested a handicap room with a walk-in shower, and it was on the third floor. When we came back from getting food, we asked Cindy if there was another elevator to avoid the long walk. She apologized and said there was only one. She asked if there was a problem, and when we explained about the handicap room, she cut us off to say they were fully booked and couldn’t change our room. We hadn’t asked to move, but thanks for the information. Since it’s an extended stay, I guess you have to ask for extra towels and cleaning service, because we didn’t get either.

We won’t be staying here again. The room tile was sticky, and we asked for it to be mopped, but no one came during our three-night stay. The manager did move us when the first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, but the new one was only better, and the hallway reeked of pot at night. For a hotel advertised as “No Smoking,” it wasn’t what I expected. It might suit you if second-hand smoke and a poorly cleaned room don’t bother you.

I had a lovely bed, and all the appliances worked really well. The room was set at a comfortable temperature, and the white sheets were sanitized. The first floor and my room were very sanitary, especially the amazingly clean bathroom. The location may be a bit far away, but it was quiet. No bugs, no loud neighbors. I’d recommend staying here.
