Key West Villas

We loved the location. It was so nice to leave the car parked for days and forget about driving. The daily complimentary happy hour was a lovely experience, and we met so many nice people there. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, with lots of extra amenities. Five stars for sure, we'll be back!

The thing that stayed with me most was how personal the service felt. Heather remembered a conversation about our favorite Key lime treats and Kevin made a Key lime pie shot for happy hour that night. Their afternoon texts also kept us up to date on breakfast, happy hour, and the daily drink. It felt like they listened and cared, not like we were just checking into another hotel. We were there for two nights, and the small touches kept adding up: wine when we arrived, a tour of the property, coolers, beach chairs, sunscreen, cold bottled water, bike rentals, and a hot tub kept cool during the day. Breakfast had bagels, muffins, banana bread, cereal, eggs, fruit, drinks, and make-your-own mimosas. Kevin mixed complimentary drinks at happy hour, with plenty of snacks. The rooms were nicely decorated and well kept, with a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and even a towel sculpture waiting for us. Key West Villas feels like a rare owner-run place where hospitality still matters. I think the 3-star label undersells it. The experience, especially the service, was better than what I’ve had at many 4-star hotels. Five stars, easily.

Kevin and Heather were warm, quick to help, and clearly cared about our stay. The property was comfortable, attractive, and in a great spot. Daily happy hour and the shot of the day were fun extras, along with all the other thoughtful freebies. Key West Villa made our trip memorable. One of the best places I’ve stayed, and we’re already hoping to return.

The location is fantastic, just ten to fifteen steps from the center of Duval street, near most of the dining and entertainment. I believe every room has its own outdoor access. Kevin and Heather are really friendly, and we got a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. There's continental breakfast each morning, including the option to make mimosas, plus a free 4:00pm to 5:00pm happy hour where you can meet other guests. The place is AMAZING. Wish I could give it 5+ stars, and I can't wait to get back to paradise.
