The Conch House Heritage Inn

Breakfast was delicious every day, and the rooms were nice. The location made all the major Key West sights walkable. The staff were kind and personable, taking time to chat with guests, which made the place feel comfortable and intimate. We felt at home and wished we could have stayed longer.

We return year after year, and plenty of other guests do too, so it’s worth planning ahead. This historic B&B is beautiful, clean, well-run, and ideally located. Hillary, Carol and Rebecca are helpful, personable hosts. Breakfast is included daily, with good coffee, fresh fruit, homemade treats, and mimosas. Bikes are available to rent onsite, enough to reach most popular spots around the island, and there’s also an onsite parking lot, which is a big convenience. Still, you can leave the car parked until departure. Walking and biking around Key West slows things down to island time and lets you see more along the way.

The Conch House was such a quaint, private place, close enough to Duval St but tucked away from it. My husband booked it for our wedding anniversary and my birthday, and both the accommodations and staff were amazing. Their continental breakfast was nothing like the one at a big chain hotel, with fresh baked goods brought in each morning. We’ll definitely return!

I stayed three nights in March 2026. The room was beautiful and had the charm of a heritage home. The location on Truman was perfect, two blocks from Duval and close to everything I came to Key West for. When my flight was cancelled, I spent hours hanging out on the porch until my alternate transport arrived. I like trying different places on visits because there are so many charming B&Bs, but I’ll definitely stay here again.
