The quiet small-town setting was such a nice change from city traffic, and Al and Hope made us feel at home right away. They also shared helpful ideas for places to eat and ways to explore town. We came for Valentine's Day and Urstad House looked just right. Our room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.

The restored house has plenty of modern comforts, and Al and Hope left snacks and treats for us. Breakfast was worth every bite. We were passing through on 90 and were glad to find a peaceful night's sleep just a few minutes from the highway. We enjoyed staying here and plan to return. I do recommend a visit.

Al took time to chat with us about Kiester and answer our questions about the careful, thoughtful restoration. Hope and Al were welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. We were in town for a family event and got lucky when The Urstad House had a room available. It's an old gem with modern comforts that make it cozy and comfortable. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

Hope's breakfasts were amazing, served on time, and filling. Al and Hope were warm, welcoming innkeepers. The house is beautiful and clearly restored with a lot of care. The rooms have everything you could need, including a very comfortable mattress and, my favorite, a great tub. I had a fantastic stay and hope to see you all again soon.

Al and Hope went the extra mile as hosts. The beautiful home has thoughtful touches throughout that make it feel comfortable and welcoming, and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend The Urstad House!
