I booked through Priceline, got a confirmation number, and thought everything was set. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. A woman in the lobby told me there were no rooms because of a plumbing issue, and to leave and cancel to get my money back. She kept telling me to leave. On my way out, I asked a guest who had a room whether they knew of a plumbing issue; they said they didn’t. Three coworkers called the hotel and got the same treatment, with no room for us. Priceline refused my refund by email a day later, after a couple of phone calls. I was told Meena at the hotel refused it. So, don’t use Priceline, Executive inn Kilgore north by OYO, or OYO. The place looked like a dump and sketchy from the outside. Meena, karma will catch up with you. I hope people take their business elsewhere and don’t get screwed like we did. I’ll also be providing pictures of the premises soon, which should keep people from coming there.

The staff made my stay a pleasure. Cleaning staff came by every day to check whether I needed towels or anything else, and everyone was nice and helpful. They’re improving the rooms daily and cleaning the property every day too. I enjoyed my stay and would come back if I ever get a room again. Thanks to the staff, keep up the good work.

I couldn’t get a refund, so I stuck it out for the one night and slept in my clothes. For work travel, this was one of the nastiest places I’ve stayed. The room smelled like wet, moldy clothes and was infested with roaches. The sheets were stained with who knows what. I asked to move rooms, but the new one had roaches too. Cable TV was out 99% of the time, so there was no TV. Luckily, I only had to stay one night.
