High Five Inn Killeen-Forthood

We heard knocks at the door several times overnight, but each time I answered, nobody was there. The room wasn't very nice at all. The carpet was dirty, the beds were old and I could feel every spring in the mattress. The bed blocked the closet door, the fridge was jammed against the cabinets so their doors wouldn't open, and the remote didn't work with the TV. The bathroom was too small for two people at once, and the shower was dangerously slippery. They put us upstairs even though I'm handicapped and have a hard time with stairs. We asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere, but they refused, saying there were no other rooms for us. People who appeared to be homeless were wandering the parking lot, and one man came up as I got out of my truck to tell me it was the best-looking truck there. I had to use a cane and needed the stair rail for balance, but it was wet from a hose or AC drain zip-tied to it. The heavy-duty tie had a sharp cut end that sliced my arm. I hate leaving a review like this, but the hotel didn't seem well managed and had too many safety problems. If I need a hotel in this town again, I'll keep driving.

Really nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms. Room service was on point too. Highly recommend staying here.

There were roaches, and the towels were dirty. The TV isn't a smart TV. The cleaning lady did her job, but also threw away my personal things that weren't trash. I asked for a do not disturb sign and they still knocked on my door. Just rude. The front desk was rude too. This place is all around trash, would never recommend staying here!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at high five inn. The employees were friendly and kind, and gave us time to gather our things at checkout instead of rushing us out. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciate it and will definitely come back. Thanks, five stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
