We had a nice open view of the green pasture behind the hotel from our room at the back, with good privacy when the curtains were open. Our first-floor room was easy to get to, which I appreciated since I don’t like stairs or waiting for an elevator. The room and grounds were clean, and the front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and communicative. The shuttle to and from the casino was a nice extra, with fast, friendly service.

The casino and hotel aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, but staying here was convenient and the day was peaceful. Our room was pretty well cleaned and the beds were soft. Still, I felt like something was biting me all night. The black chair needs to be cleaned and checked, because I saw what looked like tiny white and yellow bug eggs on it.

The Inn is functional and the rooms are clean and comfortable enough for basic needs, but it isn’t very memorable. It’s a repurposed Best Western, and the dated interiors show little sign of updating. Anyone expecting finishes like The Grand or Seven Clans will be disappointed. There are no microwaves in the rooms, apparently to encourage guests to eat at the casino. Getting there is easy with the complimentary shuttle. Guests can also use the Dream Pool, which is a nice perk. Late at night, after 10 or 11 PM, food choices are limited to grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, salads, chicken bites, or pizza, though you can get made-to-order pizza.

The room and grounds were clean, and the shuttle bus was very nice. We expected breakfast in the morning, but they don’t offer it anymore. There’s no microwave in the room either. You get a small coffee pot with a couple of sugars and creamers, so bring extra cream and sugar if you need them.
