We were comfortable with the location: restaurants, a gas station, a hospital, and groceries are all walkable, and Route 66 action is about a 10-minute drive away. The room was updated and very clean, and the front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't serviced during our three-day stay. The bathroom sign said housekeeping comes every other day; we didn't ask for more since we were fine without anyone coming in, but other guests may want to request it. I'd stay here again.

A lot is included for the price: free breakfast, an indoor pool and tub, a fitness center, and a 24-hour sweet shop. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are always free, too. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, and pet-friendly, and the hotel feels updated. Shops, restaurants, and gas stations are nearby. Excellent value.

A little traffic noise comes through from the busy road, though it wasn't too bad. Light sleepers might want earplugs. The hotel feels fairly new and was clean, with a comfortable, somewhat firm bed and a nice breakfast.

I was on active duty and working when our app booking somehow got checked in without us pressing the button, so I couldn't contact the hotel right away. Then the installation went under a flood warning and off-post travel stopped. The only road out flooded, as the early photos showed, and things got worse afterward. We never used the room, called before check-in time, and couldn't leave the installation, but the hotel wouldn't help cancel it. I can't believe a company that works so much with the military wouldn't work with people during a weather emergency. Why charge us for a room we couldn't reach or use? In more than 20 years staying with this company, this was the worst customer service I've had from a GM. If this is how they treat active-duty service members and veterans, I'm sure they'll lose plenty of business.

We couldn't leave post because of flooding, and the hotel still wants to charge us for a night in a room we never stayed in. My wife called well before the 3 pm check-in. Saying otherwise is a lie, and it's not company policy. I worked for Hilton for many years, so I know the corporate policy, at least. The GM and front-end staff seem completely against veterans. Please don't claim to support veterans when you've seen the photos showing what happened. Active-duty members have federal rights that civilians don't, and you're trampling on them. I've taken plenty of photos to share with every veterans' organization I can find. I hope none of them ever visits this hotel. I'll be out there telling everyone how you treat the military and veterans. I don't care what your company policy says. She has federal rights on active duty.
