We finally reached our room around 11:30 pm, nearly half an hour after arriving. We’d prepaid hours earlier and had driven a long way, but the front desk was empty, with only a sign saying the clerk would “return shortly.” Calling the toll-free number got me what seemed at first like a person, then turned into scripted replies and no help. My husband went inside and called “Hello?” while opening doors. A few minutes later, a man arrived, confirmed he worked there, and went straight in. He was the clerk. The room was like a storage space, with furniture piled up and turned over so it blocked the usable area. The tub was right across from the entry door, so there was no real privacy. I’d paid extra for it, but couldn’t realistically use it with the furniture and layout. The bathroom bin had no liner and already had grime and debris in it. We’d wondered whether to book one night or two. Once we saw the place, that was an easy decision. A complaint case got a generic apology, then it and a second case were closed minutes after I followed up with photos. This stay was unacceptable.

We tried more than one room, and each had a powerful mold or mildew smell. One of us was bitten by a flea as soon as we entered a room, so we left without staying. The rooms had furniture propping them open, and a coffee table was sitting on the couch. Inside, the place was awful, even though it looked normal from outside. The interior seems very dated, possibly original to the building. I don’t understand why a big name like Wyndam is attached to it. The mold and mildew problem needs attention, and the place badly needs a full renovation. We’d booked through Hotwire but didn’t stay.

The bathroom and kitchen sink both kept dripping, and the room was dirty and full of cockroaches. My son then started getting small bite marks on his legs. I told the manager there were fleas, but nothing was done. He made several promises that came to nothing. This is the worst place I’ve stayed. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re fine living with roaches and fleas. The second photo was taken just this morning. I’ve seen Section 8 houses in better shape.

The room’s amazing, and it feels worth it if you’re after a nice apartment-style stay. I like that it’s cool, and the pool’s great. The location feels a bit cramped. Service? Eh, I can’t really say, I never ask for anything.

Loved it. The staff were simply amazing, and the room was clean and comfortable, kind of like a small apartment. It’s right off I 95, close to everything, and the best price in town.
