Inside, the place is lovely, comfortable, and full of character, even though the exterior is unassuming. The record players made our stay memorable. It was our first time in Kingston, and there was just enough to do in town for an overnight. We were lucky to find nearby Eliza Restaurant and took a little boat trip to the lighthouse at the maritime museum. The CIA and Storm King are also an easy drive away. Thanks for creating such a well-curated space. We'll be back! One planning note: some reviews mentioned breakfast delivered to rooms, but we only had access to coffee and tea.

The rooms are cute, and I really appreciated that the place welcomes dogs. Coffee arrived each morning with local gluten-free breakfast sandwiches, which was great. Kingston Carriage House also made a lovely base for exploring Rhinebeck and some wineries. It's a B&B without anyone on site, as far as I know, but the staff were very responsive and accommodating. I was a bit of a needy guest, and they were so kind, going out of their way to help. I recommend it!

We had a confirmed booking made well ahead of an event we’d been excited about, and were looking forward to our stay. Then the property called to say they’d signed a contract for a large group of rooms, or something along those lines, and forced us not to stay there. That’s completely unacceptable. I couldn’t be more disappointed by the lack of professionalism, organization, and guest service recovery. Don’t trust this place with your booking.

The location is a real plus, with restaurants, cafes, wine shops, and shopping just steps away. I’ve stayed here several times, and every visit has been memorable and pleasant. The rooms each have their own character, with lovely decor and good quality bedding. You can tell someone has a good eye for design. The beds are especially comfortable in the morning, when they leave complimentary hot coffee in a thermos outside your door. I’d recommend staying here for a night or a long weekend in Kingston.

I’m here often when I’m in town, and the spacious, comfortable rooms are a big reason I return. Check-in is easy, and it’s dog friendly. The coffee machine has been out of order for almost a year, but in the morning they bring fresh brewed coffee and pastries right to the door.
