Sammy was excellent at check-in, and we slept great in the king bed. Our full-kitchen room had been completely renovated, and the shower was great too. We stayed last night and hope to come back next time we're passing through.

Joe was wonderful, and I'd give the service six stars if I could. We arrived late, around 2:39 am, to the cheeriest front desk person I've met. He explained the agreement and its terms carefully, stayed available during our visit, and took great care of us. The room was really clean and well stocked. The downtown Klamath location worked well for getting to Crater Lake and the falls, and it's a short way from I-5. I think the hotel has been around since the '30s, which is a nice bit of history if that interests you. If I come back to visit Crater Lake, I'm staying here again, no doubt. Management, give Joe a pat on the back and a huge raise. He's engineering an experience.

A coworker friend put me up here once before, and the manager was nice to me then. My friend is Caucasian. I came back with my family and explained that I needed a long-term place until I could find a rental. The manager said she would work with me. In the meantime, I was hospitalized in Medford. Then we were told we had to move from our room with a kitchen to one without, and that I could pay for seven days there. Now I'm being told my family and I can't stay past tomorrow, even though I have pneumonia and have paid for every day we've been here. Yesterday the manager said we could stay seven days, but tonight I was told those instructions came from her and we had to leave. The other staff were kind. My conclusion is that people of color shouldn't go to this hotel. Please beware of this motel.

The lobby and rooms have been redone and are very nice and clean. The guests next door kept slamming their door and making noise all evening. From the outside, the hotel isn't much to look at.

I was skeptical when I arrived because Expedia called it a hotel, but from outside it looked like a motel. The room itself was very nice, remodeled, and clean. Rikki, the woman who checked us in, was awesome. It turned out to be a great choice for us and a superb stay.
