We’ve been back several times, and it’s always been great. The office staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and well maintained. One of our favorite places to unwind.

We were on a long drive toward the Santa Rosa, CA area and stayed just one night in the two bedroom chalet. I wish I’d taken pictures. The views were amazing, and while we were in the hot tub, we saw a deer walking past the deck.

It was so dark at check-in that finding the chalet was hard, and we weren’t given very good directions for getting there. Once we got settled, though, we had a really nice weekend. Great property. I’d strongly recommend staying at Running Y. It’s a nice resort, and we’ll be back!

Monica and Bobbie went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and I really appreciated it. My 18yo daughter and I wanted a quick mommy-daughter retreat, and this was just the right distance from Bend. We spent two fabulous days in the 8-plex with the soaking tub, brought movies up from the lobby, and stayed in doing crafts and watching them. We’ll definitely come back.

The setting is scenic and quiet, on a golf course with Klamath Lake two miles over the hill and a great trail system. We were in a one bedroom unit with a balcony facing a treed landscape, in a quiet building within a neighborhood of first and second homes. The kitchen was great, the king bed very firm, and the exercise facility was great too. There are lots of deer, so be careful driving around the area. Crater Lake is 1.5 hours away, with plenty more to explore nearby.
