Breakfast was basic, with cereal, bread, PB&J, a waffle maker, juice, yogurt, and some fruit, but it was enough. I’ve stayed at plenty of small-town hotels that cost more and offer much less, so this place is well worth the money, especially since US hotels are pricey in general. The price was pretty reasonable for this range, where places often feel run down or sketchy. It was super convenient for my relocation while I was in town. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the place was well maintained, and the staff kept to themselves. I fully recommend it if you’re in the Knoxville area.

Corey, the Manager, was really pleasant and friendly. The room and bathroom were super clean, and the heat and A/C worked great. I travel for work, so I’m picky about where I stay, and I highly recommend this SUPER8. Breakfast was not bad at all. The bed was really comfy, though the pillows were small and too soft for me.

The night manager was excellent. The first room smelled bad, and the second was somewhat better, but I still went through half a can of Febreze just to lessen the odor. I told Raj on the kiosk at checkout to clean the AC filters. The maid barged into my room and kept coming back in after I’d told her twice to get out.

The breakfast was awesome, with loads of good choices. I had waffles and cereal, though there were plenty of other options. The front desk guy was instantly my best friend, and the employees were so nice. I felt bad heading up to my room, but I was exhausted!

The musty room smelled awful, most of the outlets didn’t work, and the shower was so disgusting I refused to use it. It looked like nothing had been done to the place since the 70s. Just checking in made me feel like a bother because the manager was so busy watching TV in the front lounge. There were people hanging around inside and outside the hotel, and I felt like I was in a drug den. The place needs a major overhaul, starting with management and then the rooms. I would have felt safer, cleaner, and more comfortable sleeping in my car at a rest area. One night was too long. Horrible place, and I’d never recommend it.
