Super 8 by Wyndham Kutztown/Allentown Area

Checking out was the one good part of my stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Kutztown. I arrived around 8:30 PM to find no staff on-site, only a self-service kiosk. I’d already checked in online and entered my payment details to save time, yet the kiosk process still took about 12 minutes. The room was in bad shape: peeling flooring, a broken desk chair, a toilet that ran all night, and very weak water pressure. The towels were rough, the toiletries were low quality, and the TV remote didn’t work. The lobby also smelled strongly of marijuana when I arrived. I chose this place partly because its website and the Hotels.com listing both said EV charging was available on-site. The charger didn’t work, and when I tried to get help through the kiosk, they said they couldn’t turn it on or fix the problem. I’ve stayed at other Super 8 locations and never had a stay this poor. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

The room was neat, the bathroom clean, and I felt comfortable the whole time at Super 8. Staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile, and the Wi-Fi was reliable enough for work. If you’re passing through Kutztown and want somewhere affordable, it’s a solid option. Clean, safe, and budget friendly, with more for the money than I expected.

The room was ready when it should be, and it was clean and comfortable. The TV and hot water both worked perfectly. Check-in was quick and easy, and the woman at the front desk gave me useful directions around the area. The staff made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. If good service matters to you, Super 8 Kutztown is a good choice.

For a budget stay, Super 8 Kutztown is dependable. My room had a comfortable bed, working AC, a good shower, and fast Wi-Fi, and the service was good. The price was very reasonable next to other places nearby. It isn’t fancy, but I got a clean room and what I needed.
