Quality Inn La Crosse North

The staff were friendly, and I found my room clean, despite some reviews saying otherwise. It’s not a five-star hotel, but it was very nice for the price.

The hot tub was disgusting and out of order, and the bathroom floor in our first room was sticky. It smelled like cigarette smoke, too. The man at the desk seemed completely unconcerned when I told him, and I finally walked away after saying so. We were given a clean room, but we won't stay here again. Less than one star.

The toilet stayed clogged all day, and nobody seemed to do any maintenance. The staff came across as odd, and the rooms smelled of Middle Eastern oils. The hot tub was low quality, too. I’m pretty sure my backpack was left in the room by accident and stolen, since they say it wasn’t found. I won’t be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The carpet looked recently upgraded, and breakfast was good. But the room on the first floor felt humid as soon as we walked in, and that never improved. Our clothes were damp when we packed. It rained a lot, so maybe that contributed, though I’m not sure. The bathroom sink also drained slowly.
