Channel Watefront Cottages

We first came in 2014, on our first trip away after our son was born, and we’ve returned ever since. A few years back, my dad, my son, and I began coming every Memorial Day weekend, and it’s become a time we really treasure. My husband and I also love floating in the channel with a cold drink or 2 and watching the boats go by. The location is hard to beat. You can unwind on the private island or beach and watch the boats, then walk five minutes to Weirs Beach and the boardwalk for arcades, shops, treats, restaurants, and live music. Each cottage has its own charm, with choices for couples and larger families. I’ve stayed in five of them and loved every one. Jose and Stacie are warm and welcoming, and they keep the property spotless and in great shape. For relaxation, family time, fun, and beautiful surroundings, we love this place and highly recommend it.

Sitting on the island and watching the boats go by was my favorite part, and the people watching from those seats is great. There’s plenty of room to swim, and you can bring your boat too. Jose and Stacie were wonderful hosts, looking after whatever we might need from check-in through departure. The cabins are clean and updated, and the property is pristine with pride of ownership everywhere. It’s close to everything and an easy walk to the Weirs boulevard. We can’t wait to return.

The water is what keeps drawing us back. In the summer, boats are always passing along the channel, and it’s lovely to sit by the shore with a cocktail while my boyfriend has a cigar. I first came here in the 90s with my two young boys. They swam at the “beach” and pushed their limits tubing out into the channel. Now it suits us as a couple just as well as it did our family. The cottages have that classic New England feel, with vintage character, and they’re sparkling clean. Jose is the owner and really goes out of his way for guests. We’ve made this an annual trip, and even came twice in 2025. In a couple of weeks we’re sharing side-by-side cottages with a college friend and her husband. It’s a special spot, and a great base for heading north to explore more of New Hampshire. If this sounds like your kind of stay, I highly recommend booking a cottage.

It’s easy to walk to everything around Weirs Beach, and sitting by the channel to watch the boats is a great way to unwind. The place is immaculate, with everything carefully tended and incredibly clean. Jose, thanks for a great stay.
