The room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the HVAC worked well. Check-in was quick, efficient, and friendly. Breakfast was the weak point. The room is small and laid out badly, so even a little crowd causes a backup. Putting the hot food in a small, awkward cabinet with hard-to-reach drawers is poor design. The coffee was barely warm, the food drawers weren’t stocked, and the bread options were stale bagels and pieces of bread. The dish return is way in the back, so people were left waiting in line to return dishes. Nice hotel, but the breakfast area needs more thought and effort.

I used to stay here regularly over several years to meet my kid at the University. The old management was considerate, but after the change, they tried to nickel-and-dime me over one extra hour with my kid. They lost a customer who used to stay multiple days at a time. Other hotels have been happy to accommodate me and earn my repeat business.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the amenities were good. Breakfast was the usual hotel setup, premade food or waffles you make yourself. I was less impressed at check-in because the attendant was sick.

I was here for a business trip for the first time on a day in September 2025. The hotel is near Highway 65, and there are lots of restaurants around. I had dinner at City Barbeque, right across from the hotel. My room was clean and quiet, but it didn’t have a bathtub, which was a shame.
