Super 8 by Wyndham Kissimmee/Maingate/Orlando Area

The location is good, a few minutes from Disney World, and breakfast is free. It's typical American breakfast stuff, toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee. But our room wasn't clean. The shower looked nasty, with what seemed like mold or water damage in the corners. The bathroom fan wouldn't turn on, and neither would the provided hair dryer. During our three nights, nobody came to do housekeeping, so the trash stayed full and the beds weren't made.

I'm still here, stuck for three more nights, and really wish I could go somewhere else. My room is dated and dirty, smells of mold and mildew, and I'm pretty sure there's dried blood on the curtains. In several spots, I can see that mold has been painted over. Breakfast is a granola bar and coffee. They also surprise you with a “resort” fee of $10 a day, even though this isn't a resort. I called ahead about extra fees and was told only about the $100 deposit, nothing about that fee. The gentleman at the front desk has been very pleasant, the only positive. I stayed because of a work discount, but I won't come back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The room was quiet and clean, and the bed felt like a cloud, soooo comfortable. The price was perfect for me, though I booked through Expedia and had a lot of discounts, so I can't say what the usual price is. The location is perfect, with lots of restaurants and Old Town literally across the street. There's so much to do around here, you won't be bored. I'll come back when I'm this way again.

We just wanted somewhere to rest our heads at night, and this was EXACTLY right. It's clean, with plenty of pillows and super soft blankets, and the shower had GREAT temperature and water pressure. Couldn't beat it for the price. Thanks, Super 8! It's not a five-star hotel by any means.
