Vacation Village Reservations

We were so impressed with this beautiful resort that we bought a Time Share and plan to make memories here for years. It’s bright, spacious, and very clean, with several pools and kids’ play areas. Restaurants are within walking distance. There’s a free shuttle to all the parks, including Disney, which is six minutes away, as well as to local attractions and grocery stores. Especially recommend it for families!

We were impressed from check-in right through to checkout. Our two-bedroom suite had a fireworks view, and the apartment-style room was huge and cleaner than we expected for the price. The place makes family vacations feel affordable and accommodating. The area was nice, with plenty to do nearby. We’ll 1000% be back!

We were ready to use the second bedroom only after leaving it empty and airing it out for a full 24 hours because it had a strong, lingering marijuana smell. When I raised it with the manager, he said there was nothing he could do besides spray air freshener. I declined because I didn’t want my kids breathing in more fumes, so we paid for a two-bedroom but effectively had one for the first half of the trip. Check-in delays also seem to be a recurring problem. Ours was an hour, with the room ready at 5 instead of 4. While waiting, I met a family with young kids who had booked for Friday but arrived Saturday due to travel delays. Their room still wasn’t ready, even though they had paid for the previous night. That points to a major housekeeping coordination failure. The resort is close to the parks, but between the drug odors and management’s “nothing I can do” response to the delays, I’d look elsewhere. For a family resort, the lack of cleanliness and accountability is disappointing.

We’re enjoying our three-week stay and will definitely return. It’s our first time at Vacation Village Parkway, though we’ve owned with RCI Vacation Village for years, and we decided to try this location this year. I love the resort. It’s very pleasant and accommodating. We also booked a few show tickets at the office. VAL at the ticket counter is the sweetest, knows the whole area, and was very helpful. I’d give her 100% on a scale of 1 to 5.
