Friendly service was the only upside, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. We booked a double room, yet there were towels for only two people. We’d asked for a NON-SMOKING room, and the smell of smoke hit as soon as we opened the door. The duvet was torn, and the bath and floors weren’t clean. We even saw what looked like a drug exchange. Noise wasn’t controlled either: people played music extremely loud with their doors open early in the morning. Also, be warned about the name difference. You may be looking for hotel lake Charles, but the sign actually says Super 10. That gave the place an added feeling of insecurity and fear for our safety.

I travel around the country and have stayed in dozens of motels, and this was one of the worst. I had to book through a secondary party because they don’t have an office number, and the prices are outrageous. At checkout, the top motel cleaner banged on my door, cursing at me to get up and leave. I then tried to book another night, but was told I couldn’t stay because I’d checked out late. When I removed my things and went to check out, they were holding my money for late fees. Nobody had told me about those fees, so I was left $50 short. The customer service was the worst I’ve experienced. Would not recommend, search around.

On my first visit to Louisiana, I paid $47 for a one bedroom and got a room falling apart. The covers, sheets, and pillow cases were dirty, with burnt spots on the bedding and pillows that looked as if they might be from bed bugs. I asked for a different room, but he wanted to charge me extra, so I asked for clean sheets instead and got rudeness for that too. When I went back to unload my clothes, the door knobs came off. I told the attendant, and that’s when he got very rude. The staff and service were awful. I would never recommend this motel.

Roaches were crawling on my arm, and I’ll try to upload pictures so people can see how disturbing and disgusting it was. There were roaches on the bed, in the fridge, and in the restroom. The sheets were badly stained and the door was missing its top lock. Their no refund policy is a joke. Don’t book more than one night, because if you see all the roaches and cancel, these thieves keep your money instead of refunding it. That’s how they stay in business. Someone should call the health department.
