The kids had a great time with the pool, which was open, and the nearby activities, including Game to Life within walking distance. The restaurant was close too, and the location made it easy to get to everything. Check-in was quick, we got a perfect room, and the service made the place feel like home. It was a pleasant stay, and we’ll be back soon. Thanks again for taking such good care of us.

My daughter and I never stayed the night because I felt unsafe and left. We were traveling from Florida back to Texas, and after bad Louisiana traffic left us exhausted, we booked here based on the reviews. While I was checking in at the window, I saw a woman by a car in the lot. An SUV pulled up beside her briefly and drove off. After we got our key and parked, another woman came out of the room in front of ours wearing a nightie, looking around suspiciously, then went back inside. The first woman was still in the lot. Once we had our things upstairs, I saw her near my truck and moved it closer to the lobby stairs. She came over to my window and stood there silently for a few seconds. I cracked the window and asked if I could help. She asked for a cigarette. I said I didn’t have one and don’t smoke. She stood by the truck beside me for about seven minutes without speaking or moving. I panicked. I hadn’t brought my phone down, and I didn’t know what she intended. Eventually she hurried off, and I went upstairs, packed up, and left with my daughter. I had my protection loaded and ready as we went back down. I called the front desk to report what happened, but the woman there didn’t seem concerned. She didn’t apologize or come see what was going on, and only suggested I contact the booking agency about a refund. The next day, the agency said the manager or owner had refused to refund me, despite my feeling intimidated and threatened by another guest and not staying there. The bed linens also had cigarette holes and stains. In response to the hotel, I did not check whether there were cameras, but I’m guessing there weren’t any since you can’t verify what happened. That’s another reason not to stay here. I didn’t feel my safety concern was taken seriously. If you want a good night’s rest, choose somewhere else.

Getting towels here was almost a war. They only gave me two, and asking for more seemed to make them furious. They’d come into the room to supposedly clean without letting me know, but didn’t change the covers. The covers had cigarette burns. Hospitality was horrible.
