I like the location, but I won’t stay here again after this weekend. I’ve stayed before and enjoyed it, so it’s sad to see how much the place has gone downhill since it first opened, when it was nice, clean, and quiet. Management needs to get things under control. The room door looked damaged, like someone had broken in before. I know it’s an extended-stay hotel, but the other guests felt questionable. Kids ran up and down the hall all day, and doors slammed so loudly they made me jump. On Saturday night, the whole second floor smelled strongly of weed. I had to put a towel along the bottom of my door to keep the smoke and odor out. The next morning, I woke to people fighting and swearing, with sounds like someone being thrown into a wall. I called the front desk several times, but got no help.

The room had baby roaches, and the elevators were out, so getting all our bags up to the second floor was a pain. There were some nice things about the stay, but these issues stood out. I’d already paid through booking.com, but when I arrived, their system said I hadn’t. I showed the woman my receipts, confirmation number, pin, and the date and time of payment. I know the booking site may have caused the mix-up, but she was rude, suggested my card might be locked, and kept insisting I pay again instead of hearing me out. I stayed calm, though she said I was arguing. When I asked for the manager, she kept the same attitude with me and my husband. They also charge $25 just for plates. I’m not saying don’t stay here, but do some research first.

They advertise it as pet friendly, but charge $25 per pet. That’s a fee, not a deposit, and it doesn’t feel very pet friendly.

The place is simple, but it’s clean, with roomy, comfortable rooms. We stay here for select ball tournaments.
