Comfort Inn & Suites Irvine Spectrum

Kevin, one of the managers, made a real difference during our stay. He was friendly, professional, and always helpful when we needed something. The housekeeping team also deserves credit for keeping our room spotless, comfortable, and well cared for throughout. We spent 32 nights at the Comfort Inn, and it was one of our best long hotel stays. The location was close to everything we needed but still quiet enough for good sleep. From check-in onward, the staff made us feel at home. The service, cleanliness, comfort, and convenient location made the stay feel perfect. We’d highly recommend the Comfort Inn and will return next time we’re in town.

The Indian restaurant food was decent, and breakfast was okay. I liked the waffles. The place was noisy because someone’s dog barked in their room for hours. Watch out for surprise charges after checkout. They charged me $15 for a stained towel, even though all the towels we got were already stained. Their claim that they washed this supposedly stained towel right after checkout sounds like BS. It feels like they’re looking for any way to make money. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

My boyfriend had called a few days before our stay to say it was my birthday. They said they’d arrange something special, like flowers or chocolates, and confirmed it on the phone. When we arrived, there was nothing, not even a note or mention of it. I’d also asked at the front desk in the morning for fresh towels, the bed to be made, and the sofa bed set up. The woman assured me it would be done, but when we returned that night, the room was exactly as we’d left it. Another employee checked the system and said housekeeping had skipped our room. There was no apology or real explanation. The service and attention to detail were extremely disappointing. We expected better hospitality and communication. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

The staff were fantastic from check-in through breakfast and checkout, always making sure we were happy with the stay. Breakfast was good and plentiful, even if the choices weren’t as broad as at some places. Free parking was another plus. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable. It’s not as new or fancy as the top brands, but we slept well and saved some money. Being a little farther from the freeway kept it quieter. This is my go-to place in the area.
