The location is the only good thing. It's basically in the city center, and I could walk everywhere. I wish I'd checked Google first. I booked with travel points through my credit card's official website. Its pictures looked much better than Google's, and the good reviews were at the top. The place smelled like cigarettes with a hint of mildew. I had three separate rooms over a two-night stay. The first key card wouldn't work. The second room had no lightbulbs, and the front desk was going to hand me bulbs to install myself, as if I worked there 🥴. In the final room, the bottom of my socks turned black from the dirt. It also had a loose toilet seat, a bent ironing board, a broken fridge, and still no light in the fridge/microwave area. The front desk staff were very friendly and seem to be doing their best with what they've got, but I've slept in tents in Afghanistan with better accommodations and cleaner floors.

The stay was a nightmare, even though the location was great. At 9am on day one, we got locked out of our room. We were told someone was coming to fix the door, but we couldn't get back in until around 6pm. The cops got called while we were stuck outside on the balcony with nowhere else to go. Thank goodness it didn't turn into a shootout. We watched a guy get tased twice as officers went in with their guns drawn. Then the hotel charged us for parking, even though it's free when you stay. The sheets were gross, and this was by far the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Most of the staff on hand were friendly. We eventually found out the door's batteries hadn't been changed, and that was the problem. It took all day to work out. I left messages asking the manager to call back, but she wouldn't answer or return them, so I had to contact corporate representatives just to get answers. Good luck if you stay here, it may just cost you your life. And why respond here? You did nothing when we called. Nobody would even answer the phone. Don't act like you care online when you do nothing in person!!!

The microwave and mini fridge in the room were nice, but the coffee maker was filthy, so I cleaned it thoroughly before using it. The hotel is very old. It was clean and the staff were friendly, but the TV didn't work and the curtain sheers were torn. The writing desk sagged in the middle, the nightstand drawer was crooked and wouldn't close all the way, and I had to stand on a rolling office chair to reach the AC/heating unit mounted high on the wall. I won't stay here again. Staff said they'd heard there were plans for renovation, though friends tell me they've been saying that for years. In my friend's room, plaster had fallen from the ceiling onto the floor. Why hadn't that been cleaned up before check-in?

The check-in went smoothly, the clerk was nice, and they validated parking. After that, things fell apart. We were put on the third floor, but only the elevator in the middle of the building worked, which made getting to our room inconvenient. The room had food in the fridge, a completely iced-over freezer, no batteries in the TV remote, and a phone that wasn't plugged in. There were no washcloths or face towels, the sink handles were loose, and the floors weren't clean. With no room phone, I went back to the office. The clerk said the hotel had no internet and the phones didn't work. She gave me washcloths and extra towels but didn't say much about the other problems. The place looked nothing like the pictures, and it needed cleaning inside and out. The ice machines that worked were disgusting. I'm very disappointed this is a Choice Privileges hotel in name only. The standards have dropped badly.

I spent most of my time there dealing with room problems and calling customer service. My first room wouldn't open, so I went back downstairs. The second one opened, but the floor was covered in water and muddy tracks. I was given a third room without an apology, and the desk clerk seemed completely indifferent. Then I checked my phone and saw the hotel had charged me five times. When I went back, she tried to refund it but charged me a sixth time instead. I asked to leave, but she said she couldn't refund me because I'd been there over 30 minutes. I explained that I'd spent that time going back and forth about rooms and on the phone with customer service. She didn't care. I work in hospitality and love making people's day. I tried asking how her day was and making small talk in case she was having a rough one, but I felt like I was bothering her. She never smiled once. The rooms smelled moldy and dusty, like an old house. I try to give people grace since anyone could have something going on, but I'm lost for words about this experience, especially seeing the hotel was owned by shree Krishna LLC.
