Motel 6 Lake George

The room had everything we needed, was spotless, and was kept up with daily room service. We also really liked how welcoming and genuinely kind the family running the hotel was. It’s only a short walk to the lake, too. My family and I had a lovely stay, and I’d choose this place again if I’m back in the area.

The beds felt worn and weren’t very comfortable, though the rooms were clean. The location made it easy to get into town. Breakfast was advertised, but all that meant was coffee and granola bars.

We booked six rooms for a weekend, and the staff worked hard to put them together. They’d clearly been renovated recently, with a fresh, new feel, and the beds were really comfortable. Housekeeping came each morning to make the beds and keep the floors clean, and there was fresh coffee in the morning. The place was in a perfect spot, at a perfect price, and we had a perfect stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s no breakfast, and I’m unsure I’d book again. The room was old, but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. It was very small for two people, though maybe fine for one: roughly the width of three small chairs plus a queen bed, and about a queen bed’s length plus one chair. There wasn’t enough room for us to pass each other. It was okay for me, but my partner found it too spartan. Think one step up from tent camping.
