We paid $204 for one night in a room with two queen beds. We arrived at 2 just to put our food in the fridge and head out, but the fridge didn't work. The room also smelled musty. When my 85-year-old mom and I returned at 9 p.m., she was exhausted and already in her nightgown. She pulled down the blanket and found large stains on the sheets. It was gross. I contacted the owner and, while waiting for a reply, noticed smears on the windows. The sticky floor and bugs made it clear the room hadn't been cleaned. The owner came with his wife and they changed the sheets, but didn't offer us another room. By the time they were done it was 9:30, and Mom was unsteady on her feet. They offered to clean the floor, but she needed to lie down, so I declined. They apologized, but at that hour, with Mom in her nightgown, we felt we had no real choice but to sleep there. In the morning I saw nasty stains on the sides of the sheets on the other bed too, and the box spring was disgusting. We got dressed and left by 9, without showering. I asked the owner for a partial refund, which I thought was more than fair, but they haven't responded or returned any money. After seeing the room, you might want a full refund. Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I hope they do the right thing, but I still haven't heard back.

A cute place, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Stewart's gas station is very convenient for morning coffee, though it gets busy and is a popular hangout at night. The motel is toward the edge of town, but traffic on the road is loud until around midnight.

The motel has a peaceful, nature-surrounded feel, and the room is like a small cabin. It came with a fridge, microwave, TV, a table and two chairs, and a comfortable bed. We were warmly welcomed at this charming little place. Everything is within walking distance, including the beach, souvenir shops, Fort William Henry, Pirate Mini Golf, Shepard Park, and more. There's a gas station right next door where we got breakfast. We'll definitely return!

We used this place as a base for motorcycle rides and would definitely return. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms had what we needed, and the price was great. It was also handy to have a full-service gas station right beside the property, and the owners were very friendly.

This isn't The Four Seasons, it's a charming roadside motel that's been around for decades and clearly has been loved and looked after. The owners are the sweetest, and I had a lovely stay. The property is clean and tidy and seems to be getting some improvements. I liked the knotty pine tongue-and-groove walls, they make it feel like Lake George. My room, number 12, was spotless, tidy, and comfortable, with plenty of space for my belongings, a TV with actual channels, and a recently updated bathroom. The double bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is a bit tight. I'm a broad-chested, gorilla-armed guy, 6 feet and 185 pounds, but not a Fatty McGee. I don't usually write reviews this long unless a place was really bad, and this place was really good. I wish the owners the best.
