Willowbrook Inn

Beth was so friendly and had great suggestions, and Willowbrook Inn was a lovely place for our family wedding trip. We booked all 8 rooms and were encouraged to treat the inn like our own. The kids had open space to play, and we made good use of the fire pit every night. Our rooms were clean and roomy, each with its own patio. Lake Lure is a real gem.

Beth really made the visit better. She cared about the hotel and its guests, answered all my questions, and got back to me quickly. It was our first stay, so I had plenty to ask, and they seemed to have everything we might need. The room was huge and very clean, and the location worked perfectly for us. It was quiet, and we felt safe there as two women traveling alone. We’ll stay again for sure. Love this place.

Beth makes you feel welcome from the moment you book, and she’s been incredibly kind every time we’ve visited. We’re treated like family here. The setting is beautiful, secluded, and relaxing, just what I want from a getaway. I once booked the wrong date, and Beth still went out of her way to prepare our room, had it ready hours early, and changed the dates for us. They take great care of you and are always willing to help with questions or anything that comes up during your stay. If you want somewhere relaxing where you feel that you matter, this is the place.

The porch was a pleasant spot to sit outside in the evening, though the nearby road could be a little noisy at times. Service was hands off, but help was available when we wanted it, and the wifi worked well. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, with a nice tub and shower. It’s a small, nice inn, conveniently located for Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. The rooms are a good size and the amenities are solid. In the kitchen there’s a mini fridge, microwave, small oven, and a few dishes. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
