Days Inn by Wyndham Lake Park/Valdosta

Days Inn in Lake Park, Ga is a good choice if you want to save money and still get a decent night's rest. I stayed there for a couple of days because I just needed somewhere to crash, and the price was right. The staff really make the place, and it was a pleasure to return. Breakfast had waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, plus coffee, tea and cereal, plenty for the price. The pool was sparkling, and there are outdoor spaces that work well for family reunions, including an outside bar you can stock for day or night. I’d absolutely stay again. If you want a mint on your pillow, go elsewhere.

The front desk staff were polite, knew their stuff and were ready to help. I stayed two nights, and the room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. All the lights worked, and the heater was powerful. I’ll be back.

We stayed with a group and everyone enjoyed the place. It was quiet, close to lots of restaurants and fast food, and the rooms were warm and comfortable. They served a warm breakfast in the morning. I’d recommend it if you need somewhere to stay for a while.

We’ve stayed here whenever we’ve visited family in the area for years, but I’m afraid this will be our last time. My elderly parents’ room had half its lights burned out. We’ve called the front desk since check-in about replacing the bulbs, but nobody answers, and when I went there in person, nobody was at the desk. Both rooms had clogged toilets, and we were told the lobby toilet was out of order too, so it seems like the whole property may have a plumbing problem. The rooms are dingy as well, with peeling paint on the doors and trim. That’s less pressing, but still worth mentioning. We’re only here for one night, thankfully.
