We’ve had to travel between Arkansas and Storm Lake while caring for our elderly parents, and later after they passed. Cobblestone Inn gives us a quiet spot with enough distance from Storm Lake to have some privacy. Sitting on the patio by our room and looking out at the lake is peaceful, and it’s easy to walk down to the water. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is good and ready early, and the staff, especially Kim, have been kind and helpful when we need a room. We also love being so close to Dock It Bar and Grill. It’s a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it.

That bathroom laundry basket is such a good idea for used towels and washcloths, instead of leaving them in a pile on the floor. The rooms were clean, and the sitting area felt beautiful and welcoming. The staff were friendly too.

The bar and grill next door is a nice bonus. Beds and bedding were comfortable.

I got there at 8:53pm, so I just missed the restaurant next door, which closes at 9pm on weeknights. The stay itself was great for a rural Iowa agricultural town. My room had plenty of space, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked well. It was quiet, and breakfast was ready at 5am. JD

I travel a lot for work, so I always check for bed bugs. This place was bed bug free. The room, entrances, bathroom, and sink were all impressively clean, with none of the grime I usually see around the sink. The place felt fairly updated for the location, and I enjoyed staying by the lake. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the employees were friendly.
